The 62nd Conference & Annual Business meeting of the Virginia National Guard Association will convene July 29-30, 2022, in our capital city, Richmond, Virginia.

We gather this year under the them: Build.

Please join us in The River City during the late July timeframe for a VNGA conference with plenty of shops, dining, nightlife, and sports just steps away from the Downtown Marriott Hotel.

The conference kicks-off with a Golf Competition at TopGolf Richmond, a motorcycle rally and ride to The National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia, the exhibition hall grand opening and dinner, and an evening of live music at Vagabond’s Bar & Lounge. A private showing of The Girl Who Wore Freedom is also available on Friday evening.

Saturday starts with a presentation to the VNGA, the Virginia National Guard Enlisted Association, and the Virginia National Guard Historical Foundation from the 28th Adjutant General of Virginia, Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams. Following the joint presentation, the VNGA Officers and Warrant Officers break out into grade-specific sessions to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the Virginia National Guard. These breakout sessions feed the VNGA Board of Directors’ priorities for 2023. Following the breakout sessions, the VNGA convenes the annual business meeting and holds elections for officer positions and sets the advocacy agenda for 2023.

Saturday night ends with the 2022 Military Ball: Hearts & Heroes. The military ball features a formal military banquet and keynote presentation from a senior leader of the National Guard, live music provided by the 29th Infantry Division Band, games and dancing!

Registration is closes July 14, 2022. Don’t wait!
