“We want people to be informed about the legislation that affects their careers,” said Maj. Andrew J. Czaplicki, VNGA president. “Each year, members of the House of Delegates and Senate debate and vote on a number of different bills that directly impact the Guard family.”
Various Guard-specific budgetary, procedural and benefit decisions are made by the General Assembly each year, Czaplicki explained.
“We want to engage our membership and our Guard family and put the tools in their hands to take action on the issues that matter,” said Czaplicki.
Those who text the keyword “VNGA1960” to 313131 receive periodic links to automated action alerts during the 2021 Virginia General Assembly Winter Session. Each alert is designed for the user to take action directly from their mobile device.
